If I go out with friends, I tend to buy less than if I go out alone :\

Have you looked at bedding at Winners? That's where I found mine. I got sheets, a duvet cover with "fancy" pillow shams, and two matching throw pillows for about $260.

I also need to shop alone, especially around Christmas. Doing my Christmas shopping alone is sort of a Christmas tradition/ritual for me. I go and get lunch at the food court and then spend hours at the mall. But you're right - sometimes having someone there is very helpful! I always went with one friend who is now in another province and I would say to her "Do I like this??" Haha.
